I am currently working as a certified ESL teacher at a private school in Wuxi, China. I have also taught Primary School, Middle School, and High school in Suzhou, China. I am now currently a High school Teacher in Wuxi, in the Jiangsu province. I am also tutoring older students who are planning to travel to English-speaking countries. Some of my older students that I am tutoring are preparing to take their entrance exam for various Universities. I also volunteer for our school’s summer camp program. It is something I enjoy doing and at the same time the students learn a great deal about the western culture. I also worked at the SMIC summer camp in Shanghai in July of 2010 and 2011. During the last nine years I have been a volunteer teacher for the iCity charitable organization in Suzhou, China. I also have been doing a lot of volunteer work to promote our School.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, everyone 💓

I am one of those people who enjoy sharing and giving thanks to the special people in my life. That makes this time of year special because I have plenty to be thankful for. People have gone out of their way to be kind to me throughout my life. I like telling those special to me that when you care for others, you are cared for, and when you love others, you are loved. This special season of giving should reveal our love for one another through kindness because loving kindness gives this special season its true meaning.

This song is very appropriate for this day and age 🦅

I sang the song "Imagine" in my classroom three years ago in China; I feel the music is very appropriate for this day and age. Imagine if the song's lyrics became a reality and the human race could live in peace and harmony. That surely would be a wonderful thing ....... 🦅

Let us honor our veterans on veterans day ......... 🦅

Woodrow Willson, our 28th President, declared that the bloody European War (World War I) would be the war to end all wars. However, we became embroiled in another global conflict, WW II.

World War I ended with the Treaty of Versailles, signed on June 28, 1919, officially ending the conflict. Nonetheless, the armistice date of November 11, 1918, remained in the public imagination as the date that marked the end of that bloody conflict; that is why Americans honor our veterans on November 11th, known as Veterans Day. There will always be conflicts and wars, but let us hope there will never be another World War.

Let us honor those who sacrificed to fight for our freedom and Democracy, which should never be taken for granted. Let us also remember that America, without its soldiers, would be like an angel without its wings. So, on this Veterans Day, I would like to say thank you to our veterans for your service and commitment to the greatest country on earth, the United States of America ......... 🦅

Welcome November 💓

Well, welcome to November. This month derives from the Latin root novem, meaning “nine,” because in the Roman calendar, there were only ten months in the year, and November was indeed the ninth month.

Our eleventh month is best known for Thanksgiving and Veterans Day in America, but it is also packed with many special days of awareness and observances to celebrate.

November will stream forth a period of transition and personal growth, and this month will also herald new beginnings or a new chapter in your life. Use this time to examine how your life has brought you to where you are now. It is no accident that everything you need to move forward and grow is at your disposal, regardless of your current situation – and all you have to do to find it is to look deep inside yourself. In these times of transition, you need to be present, awake, and, of course, alert.
